About the Blog
This is a blog following my culinary creations in the kitchen as I'm a self proclaimed foodie with a love for mostly natural, healthy, and wholesome foods. I'm also on a dairy free and gluten free journey. My earlier recipes will have both in them, but my newer recipes are usually both dairy free and gluten free, but not always. Every once in awhile I cook and bake for the masses, so of course there is flour and dairy involved at times.
About Me
An engineer, a lawyer, and a chef all walked into a bar..... Not quite. I'm on a self-inflicted academic torture mission. My undergrad was in engineering, went to grad school, and after grad school, I entered into the scary world of law school... all while working... full time. Yes, you read that right. Masochistic, right? But really, I'm pursuing a career in intellectual property to eventually become a patent attorney. Now, while many students survive on ramen noodles, pizza, and other foods that resemble nothing from nature - I have always enjoyed cooking a fine meal that deserves to be eaten on a plate with a knife and fork. There's something to be said about what a nutritious dinner can actually do for the hamster wheel upstairs.
Aside from the love for school and desire to one day be a lawyer, I'm also a wife to my dear husband, a proud dog and cat owner, a boating fanatic, a water junkie, green thumb gardener, a snowboarding addict, a "runner" (I run for me and my sanity, not for a time), a flute and piano player, and a photog. I also love eye candy that comes on 4-wheels (in other words, I love cars). So all in all, I'm quite the eclectic sort.
*Peace Out* Before plummeting down
Law school reading - somebody can't seem to stay awake!
